What is Data Privacy and Why It Matters | Anushka at NLU Jodhpur's Capacity Building Workshop
Anushka was a speaker at ‘Decoding Data Privacy: Understanding Rights, Regulation & Commercial Realities’ a capacity building workshop organised by The Centre for Law and Technology, National Law University, Jodhpur.
This two-day intensive workshop was designed to provide law students with a comprehensive understanding of data privacy, from its legal foundations to its commercial implications, to bridge the gap between academic theory and professional practice.
Through expert-led sessions and interactive case-based learning, participants engaged critically with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, and explore its interaction with global legal standards and commercial realities.
Anushka spoke expanding on her work in the arena of tech-facilitated gender-based violence and why privacy matters.
